Commissions & Classes
The process generally begins with a first meeting either at my studio or your location. It's very helpful if you can provide measurements and any designs, drawings, photos or colour swatches that may help convey your ideas. I will need to know conditions such as location, lighting, privacy and installation. Next we will move on to the design stage where you can browse through my pattern library or I can create a custom design just for you. Once the final design is approved and glass choices are made, I can begin work on your project, which can usually be completed within 3-4 weeks. Please note that current work-in-progress and the availability of materials may delay when I can get started.
Because every project is unique and different, pricing will of course vary. Pricing is based on the following criteria; custom or stock design, complexity of design, size and shape of panel, glass types and selections, embellesments (such as bevels), framing, installation and delivery. I am able to offer competitve pricing, having no overhead, no staff and no large inventory to maintain. Rest assured that this in no way compromises the degree of quality you can expect!

My Beginners Course includes provides close personal instruction, all class supplies and tools, all project materials and a helpful take-home guide.
Classes are limited to one or two people so you will always receive close individual instruction with every step. Course scheduling is flexible and will be arranged at a mutually convenient time,
either weekday days or evenings (7pm to 9:30pm) or Saturday mornings
(9:30am to 12 noon).
You will learn the copper-foil method while making your own small window panel.
This is a very comprehensive course covering use of all the necessary tools of the trade to cut, grind, foil, solder, frame, patina, clean and polish your project.
